Rolfing® Structural Integration
Rolfing Structural Integration is a unique type of holistic bodywork therapy that aims to improve posutre and movement by working on one of the body's connective tissues, fascia. Typically, this is done through a series of ten session, where a certified Rolfers uses hands-on techniques to release tension and realign the body. This can help reduce pain, increase flexibility, boost body awareness, and make activities of daily living easier and more effecient. Whether you're looking to improve posture while working at a computer or break through a plateau at the gym, Rolfing focuses on improving how your whole body works and feels.
Additional Information: Rolfing is not a massage. Clients do not undress and lay on a table for the duration of the session. Rolfing invloves interaction and participation from the client, including occasionally getting up and moving during the session to see how the intervention is being recieved. Clients are advised to show up in Rolfing attire that they feel comfortable walk around in. Example: underwear, compression shorts, sports bra, bike shorts, etc. This will allow Matt to visually assess movement patterns
